The Uptown Group House Foundation in cooperation with the Uptown Group Steering Board has implemented an extensive safety plan to offer meetings. If you’d like to read through our plan you can find it here.
In order to safely operate pre-COVID independent meetings in the house as a first stage we have decided that these meetings must have a trusted servant who attends the house steering board and has provided their contact information to the board should the need to contact those attending the meeting occur. We are also offering other not led meetings at limited preset daily times. These daily times for all meetings are listed in our AA meeings area of the website. There are no squad leaders of non-structured meetings so attendees are asked to follow our COVID safety procedures and follow the available guides and meeting topics provided in each room. There will be a limit of 6 rooms and 42 people maximum in the house during these meeting times. Masks will be required for individuals to attend. All chairs in the meeting rooms are spaced and marked 6″ apart. Volunteers are being asked to help us safely operate these meetings and keep the house clean.
